홈 시퀀스, photo print on semi-transparent plastic, 4 x 200 x100 cm, (Hongcheon Bus Terminal, 2018, group exhibition with Rémi Klemensiewicz, Yong Hae Sook) is a site-specific installation with photographs of four different entrance doors of my current homes (in 2018) located in Amsterdam, Anseong, Düsseldorf and Seoul. The photographs are printed on thick transparent plastic foil and fit exactly between the window frames. The visibility of inside and outside space such as detail and color intensity of the prints change depending on the daylight and interior lightning. Through the permeable doors one can look from the passenger hall to the street and from there back to the inside. Private and public space merge together, when passers-by appear in the image frame walking along, stand or look through the doors. In a metaphorical sense they become visitors of the my homes, and me making myself a temporary home at the bus terminal, a transit place where fixed roles of guest and host become indistinguishable.
